Global and Regional Sustainable Investment Assets The estimated size of the global sustainable investment market as defined by this report and managed in the regions covered is at least US$ 13.6 trillion as of December 31, 20112 , based on data gathered from members of the Global Sustainable Investment Alliance. This represents 21.8 percent of the total assets managed in the regions covered by the report3, conclusively showing that the sustainable investment industry has significant scale.
